Opportunity exists within Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) for an Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic Architecture team within a complex Health Care setting.

Where you'll be working
Digital Health Services, Level 4 Douglas Building, Royal North Shore Hospital. Travel to CCLHD as required.

What you'll be doing

This role is responsible for defining and developing the overall IT infrastructure strategy, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

A key part of this role is to act as a coordination point between IT senior leaders, business stakeholders, DHS project, technical, architecture, and delivery teams, to translate business requirements and problems into technology solutions, and provide detailed design, in conjunction with feedback from DHS technical and architecture teams.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  2. Demonstrate understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and trends, including cloud computing, virtualisation, storage, networking, and security specifically in relation to a large Healthcare environment.
  3. Demonstrate examples where you have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems and then communicate and collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders, delivery, technical and architecture teams.
  4. Demonstrate examples of your ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions, and provide detailed design, in conjunction with feedback from technical and architecture teams.
