About the role

The Implementation Officer is responsible for implementing and providing ongoing operational support for the Paperlite project, a statewide, digital hospital admission solution for NSW Health.


The Implementation Officer would be responsible for:

  • Delivering training and providing end-user support to ensure new applications and processes are embedded throughout NSW Health.
  • Assisting with planning/coordination of implementation activities with hospital administration teams within Local Health Districts.
  • Provide operational and technical direction for the ongoing improvement of revenue system/processes managed by the State ODS Program team.

Health Manager level 3 starting salary from $127,150 - $144,444, plus Superannuation, with a 38-hour working week.


What you will do

  • Work collaboratively with MoH teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the new guidelines, processes, systems, user experiences and the training and support requirements impacting the implementation of Revenue Portal functionality.
  • Deliver training and other implementation activities including ongoing support for the LHDs in a classroom setting and via Microsoft Teams. This includes preparing and updating training and implementation plans, conducting training sessions and ensuring implementation plans are adhered to by the LHDs within the agreed timeframes.
  • Travel within NSW Health Local Health Districts will be required. This may include overnight travel.


About you


We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of the State ODS Program with the following experience and knowledge areas:

  • Experience in running customised training sessions for administrative and clinical staff that have differing levels of experience in the utilisation of technology.
  • Experience in implementation plans, processes and tools to support the implementation of complex enterprise systems that impact numerous stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and verbal with the ability to influence and inspire groups of people with a passion for transferring knowledge and skills.
  • Proven customer service skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience in an administrative support/clerical role or revenue team role withing a NSW Health hospital will be highly regarded.
