What you'll be doing

The primary role of the exSEEDing the Human Experience Program Lead is to provide senior leadership, advice and strategic and operational oversight and management of the Elevating the Human Experience (ETHE) strategies and initiatives across ISLHD. 

The position is responsible for the development and implementation of the ETHE strategy across the District and to ensure, budgets and allocated and targets met. The role will engage with key stakeholders to identify and develop innovative methods, make complex judgements and make appropriate changes to enhance the Human Experience for consumers and staff at all levels of ISLHD. 

This position will manage annual events for the Ministry of Health Human Experience Team locally and any wellbeing initiatives/events sanctioned by NSW Health.

Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline (preferably Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology) and/or equivalent work experience in a large diverse public sector organisation.
  2. A mature level of understanding, contemporary knowledge, and experience working with evidence based wellbeing programs, projects and activities.
  3. Demonstrated experience in supporting complex teams in crisis, using strong stakeholder engagement and consultation and co-designing and customising wellbeing strategies to manage a broad range of work-related situations.
  4. Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven track record of strong interpersonal, influencing and motivational skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  5. Demonstrated excellence in strategic planning, quality improvement and research methods, change management processes and coaching, including the ability to make complex judgements in a large and complex organisation.
  6. Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in report writing, grant submissions and academic publishing, and the ability to negotiate and interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.
  7. Current NSW driver's licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
