Remuneration: $34.46 - $35.54 per hour + Superannuation

Where you’ll be working:

John Hunter’s Emergency Department, one of the busiest in NSW with up to 90,000 presentations annually, operates in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. A dedicated team of nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, and administration staff work seamlessly to deliver the best possible experience for every patient, every time. Frontline administration staff play a vital role as the face of the ED, managing patient registrations, conducting daily audits, and fostering positive relationships. You will be fully supported and receive comprehensive training, including My Health Learning modules and one-on-one mentoring until you feel confident and prepared.


To excel in this role 

  • Strong customer service experience
  • Competent in computer systems and data entry
  • Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
