An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) as a Director of Advanced Training - Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, in the Medical Portfolio.
The Director of Advanced Training (DoAT) - NSW Psychiatry Training Program provides clinical and professional leadership and expert advice for their specific Psychiatry subspecialty area. The DoAT reports to the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) through the Clinical Chair, NSW Psychiatry State Training Council, noting that additional reporting requirements may be required at a local level by the employer.
The incumbent is responsible for facilitating the efficient and effective delivery of subspecialty psychiatry training in NSW. The incumbent must not be in possession of a role that would cause insuperable conflict of interest and prevent the execution of the delineated duties. Liaison with a number of key groups and individuals is a critical part of this role.
