Where you'll be working:

As a Dietitian in this role, you will work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and the Chronic Disease team. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of what we do.

You will have the support of the Senior Dietitian from Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, ensuring guidance and professional development opportunities.

Your work will include providing services to Tenterfield and Emmaville via telehealth while maintaining a clinic in Inverell. This allows you to reach and support a variety of communities in need.

Tenterfield, a historic town in New South Wales’ scenic New England region, offers stunning landscapes, elegant wineries, and rich heritage. Emmaville, also known as Vegetable Creek, is a small rural town with a strong farming, grazing, and mining community.

Our team is incredibly supportive, working in an open-plan office where allied health professionals collaborate closely. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit team, making this a great environment to thrive in!


About you:
We are looking for someone who is extremely organised, with a great attention for detail. This is a fast-paced role which requires all documentation to be up to date. Previous experience in Type 1 Diabetes will be a bonus. If you are enthusiastic and motivated, we'd love for you to apply!


Requirements: 

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.

  • Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel to other sites, which may involve driving long distances.
