What you'll be doing
The Westmead Clinical Haematology Clinical Trials Unit is seeking a Data Manager to support clinical drug trials and research studies. This role involves managing and entering critical data for national and international registries. The position also helps meet reporting obligations for accreditation. As a Data Manager you will:
- Be responsible for data entry into Haematology Database and registries.
- Assist with data entry for clinical trials.
- Collaborate with Westmead Children’s Hospital one day per week.
- Ensure the unit meets reporting requirements for accreditation.
- Support investigator-initiated research studies.

- Tertiary qualification in a health or science discipline or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
- Proven proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as database software.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines within a busy working environment.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and deliver outcomes as required, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Demonstrated excellent ability to problem solve, organise and prioritise workload.
