Fairfield Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety.

What You'll be Doing
Provision of a wide range of Pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of the hospital, including dispensing, distribution and manufacturing services as well as clinical services. Promotion of both safety and quality as key aspects of drug therapy. Participation in quality improvement and professional development, as well contribution to education and supervision of other staff and students.

- Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice.
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff, and patients and carers
- Experience in the provision of clinical Pharmacy services preferably in a hospital setting consistent with the Standards of Practice of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia
- Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and experience in applying that knowledge appropriately to clinical settings
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams;
- Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and to supervise the activities of support staff
- Proven organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise according to Organisational needs
- Demonstrated understanding and application of quality improvement methodology
