What you'll be doing
To provide advanced and complex care to patients of MNCCI reflecting current standards of nursing practices and Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.  These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.

A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.

  1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with relevant post -registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience in Oncology and/or post graduate qualification.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development
  4. Demonstrated ability in leading and initiating activities to improve service delivery and patient clinical outcomes
  5. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands on time
