What you'll be doing
The Clinical Improvement Facilitator is a senior position within the Clinical Governance Directorate and requires highly developed analytical, leadership and project management skills, and an ability to work with a high degree of autonomy reflecting the level of experience and expertise required. The position holder also requires an understanding of complex issues including trends in health status, service utilisation, health technology, policy and contentious issues at the local and State level.
- A degree in a relevant field (Healthcare or Project Management) or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated quality improvement project experience.
- Understanding of patient safety, health care quality programs, project management and change management.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including experience in the preparation and presentation of complex reports and high level of organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Demonstrated skills in coaching and/or education with an understanding of the principles of adult learning and the relevance of evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated familiarity with computer applications including Microsoft Word, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
