Clinical Dietitian - Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick
An exciting opportunity exists within the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Prince of Wales Hospital. The Prince of Wales Hospital is a quaternary referral and teaching hospital - a great place to develop your career.
Our team comprises 19 dedicated dietitians ranging from new graduate to experienced clinical specialists. As a team we are committed to ensure that the nutrition care of patients and clients are at the forefront of service delivery.
Where you'll be working
The Prince of Wales Hospital is located in Randwick, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The hospital is undergoing redevelopment and has just opened a new acute services building as part of our large and friendly hospital campus. The hospital is accessible via a light rail service which stops right outside the main entrance, along with a range of bus services.
The Role
Your focus will be on providing quality person centred care. This includes utilising clinical expertise and knowledge in nutrition and dietetics to plan, implement and coordinate nutrition care to patients consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award
- Recent and relevant experience in a comparable acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters commensurate with years of experience
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and the application of evidence based practice
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
