About the Role

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and support nursing teams across multiple critical care units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee a $55 million budget, optimising resource allocation and operational efficiencies.
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Develop and nurture future nursing leaders, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Directors of Nursing and key clinical and non-clinical partners to implement best practices and innovative care models.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise key performance indicators (KPIs) and data insights to inform decision-making and drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Quality and Safety: Champion high standards of patient safety and care, embedding evidence-based practices within the team.
