Are you a compassionate and experienced clinician with a passion for supporting young people through their mental health journey? We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our Assertive Outreach and Intensive Case Management Team within headspace CAMHS. This important role focuses on providing tailored, evidence-based mental health support to young people aged 12–25 who are experiencing severe and complex challenges.

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be at the forefront of delivering vital clinical support, working with young people and their families to address mental health issues that may not be fully supported by standard services. Your role will involve providing trauma-informed, recovery-focused therapy, helping young individuals heal, build resilience, and navigate their mental health challenges.



This position is graded for the following: 

  • Occupational Therapist Level 3 
  • Clinical Psychologist 
  • Senior Psychologist 
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 
  • Social Worker Level 3 
  • Welfare Officer Level 3 
  • Counsellor Level 3 
  • Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2 

About You

  • You have a unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • You have Postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
  • You have experience working with a range of community partners including General Practitioners and collaborative partnerships with Government Organisations and Community Managed Organisations.
