Where you'll be working:
Join the Moree Community Health Centre, a large and busy multidisciplinary team providing essential outpatient services to the local community. This Monday to Thursday role offers the opportunity to support clinicians and services in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
About the role:
As an Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the health centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients at reception and handling phone enquiries.
- Booking appointments in CHIME and managing service requests.
- General administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and mailing.
- Registering patients in IPM.
- Ordering and managing supplies for the centre.
- Allocating and monitoring fleet vehicles.
- Handling legal documents including Chapter 16A, S248, ROI, and subpoenas.
About you:
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who:
- Is friendly and people-oriented, with strong communication skills.
- Has a high level of computer proficiency and is willing to learn new systems (IPM and CHIME experience preferred).
- Can plan and organise work effectively, considering the impact on others.
- Thrives in a busy team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
