The first step is to submit your resume and answers to the following selection criteria:

1.     Bachelor's degree in nursing, occupational therapy, clinical psychology or social work with extensive clinical experience in the drug and alcohol field including post graduate qualifications with full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and or other professional bodies.

2.     Extensive experience and skills in the assessment and treatment of D&A concerns with psychosocial evidence-based approaches.

3.     Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and ability to provide expert advice to nursing and allied health staff regarding the assessment and management of complex patients with a drug and alcohol related issue.

4.     Demonstrated capacity to provide clinical governance and team leadership, and experience in the provision of education to peers, clients and other service providers at individual and group levels.

5.     Demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills including ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders across a range of professional groups in order to build strong collegial relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries.

6.     Demonstrated experience in project management, including skills in developing, implementing and evaluating programs including clinical groups.

7.     Highly competent computer skills utilising varied software programs and information systems with proven ability to utilise research / quality improvement strategies to effect changes in clinical practice.

8.     Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the state.
