As the Principal Psychologist with ISLHD, you’ll lead strategic leadership and expert clinical governance across a district-wide psychology workforce. You’ll drive strategic direction, shape innovative models of care, and expand psychology roles across multiple sites. You will collaborate with executives and allied health leaders to integrate psychology into organisational priorities and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
The successful candidate will mentor senior clinicians, strengthen partnerships with universities, and foster opportunities for research, teaching, and innovation. Throughout, you act as a connector and influencer—building strong professional links, promoting integrated care, and ensuring the psychological workforce is supported, capable, and delivering exceptional outcomes.

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms.
