Position Title: Hospital Services Assistant

Join our Commercial Services team as a Hospital Services Assistant! Long Bay Hospital is based in Malabar, NSW.

Long Bay Hospital is a part of Long Bay Correctional Centre, in this position you will be working in a secure environment to maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, distribute meals to patients and provide linen and waste management services.

Duties Include:

• Carry out general cleaning & tidiness of kitchen, wards, offices, and specific Ward maintenance.

• Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleaning standards.

• Remove, collect and distribute linen for all wards.

• Clean rooms and beds after patient discharge (terminal clean).

• Remove waste material including contaminated clinical waste.

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

• Prepare and distribute meals and refreshments to inpatients.
