The Role
 

This position would suit a GP with experience in women’s health and antenatal shared care (ANSC). The position holder will be providing primary healthcare to adult female patients and have oversight of the clinical management of pregnant patients both in Sydney Metropolitan and rural centres using the shared care model in adult correctional centres administered by Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (Justice Health NSW) in accordance with best evidence- based practice and organisational policies. 


The Staff Specialist will be working in conjunction with other members of the healthcare team including antenatal and Midwifery teams to provide safe, culturally appropriate care to those in custody
