Join us in shaping healthier futures. Together we can do more.
The Port Kembla Hospital Physiotherapy Department offers a supportive, collaborative, and clinically excellent environment for early‑career physiotherapists to grow and thrive. You will join a highly experienced team with strong expertise across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, complex orthopaedics, persistent pain, amputee rehabilitation, and neurodegenerative conditions. Our approachable and invested Musculoskeletal Clinical Educators provide close, hands‑on supervision and mentorship, ensuring you feel supported, challenged, and confident as you develop your practice.
As a permanent full‑time Level 1/2 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, you will manage a broad and varied outpatient caseload, developing depth and confidence in the assessment and management of common orthopaedic and musculoskeletal presentations, while also being supported to work with more complex and less frequently encountered conditions.
The preferred applicant will have experience in the outpatient Musculoskeletal setting with both individual and group-based interventions. They will participate in quality improvement activities, service development initiatives, and project work. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to support student placements under the guidance of senior clinicians.
