As a Physiotherapist within ISLHD, you will deliver high-quality, specialist physiotherapy services to clients with complex needs, applying advanced clinical reasoning and expertise. Working autonomously, you will plan, coordinate, and implement specialised care for patients and their families, ensuring adherence to NSW Health, ISLHD, and physiotherapy policies and standards. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting and mentoring junior physiotherapists, technical staff, and students, while contributing to the development and evaluation of clinical services. With opportunities to engage in clinical research, lead educational programs, and manage specific projects, this role offers the chance to shape the future of healthcare in the region.
This position works alongside the psychologist in the Chronic Pain Service. The working days are Tuesday and Friday.

A little about us.
Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital, located on Yuin Country, is the main referral hospital for the Shoalhaven region, providing emergency care, medical, surgical and orthopaedic services. The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre and sub-acute Mental Health Unit.
The hospital is currently undergoing a significant $440M redevelopment that will redefine how healthcare is delivered within the Region.
