Enrolled Nurse Day Surgery Centre - Wollongong Hospital

Selection Criteria

1. Current Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
2. Recent clinical experience in a Day Surgery Unit or an acute care setting.
3. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
4. Excellent knowledge of infection control/standard precautions and manual handling lifting and transfer techniques.
5. Demonstrates an understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Enrolled Nurse in applying these principles.
6. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
7. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
8. Efficient with eMR and familiarity with Health Information Systems.
