ISLHD is seeking experienced, compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic clinical coders to work as part of a team. The role involves coding inpatient episodes of care across all ISLHD facilities.

To provide accurate, timely, high quality coded data of complex inpatient separations from any or all of the hospitals within the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD using the current edition of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and the Australian Coding Standards in order to meet Activity based Funding (ABF) targets, ISLHD reporting timeframes, provide data for research, planning and financial management

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms. That’s 5,687 square kms of beautiful beaches, coastal cycling tracks, lush rainforests, incredible bushwalks and friendly people. -          Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role.

-          The successful applicants will sit a coding test. The successful applicants will need to code 6 episodes of care within one hour.
