The position provides a specialised clinical service to patients/client/consumers across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.  The position will provide high quality assessment and intervention for referred patients/clients/consumers and act as a consultant for health professionals in the area of Allied Health:  Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology.

A little about us.

As a part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. The Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together a range of services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services.

Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site.

-         Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.

-         Working With Children Check (WWCC)

-         Current registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible for membership of professional association for disciplines not requiring AHPRA registration.

-         Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Clinical Specialty area of Paediatrics including high level assessment and intervention skills.

-         Current NSW Drivers Licence, with the ability to travel in accordance with position responsibilities.
