About the Role
Mental Health Services in Sydney Local Health District are committed to continuing to develop our strong and vibrant research services. We have recently published our Mental Health Service Research Strategic Plan, and are expanding our research program. Our Complex Mood Disorders Unit and Eating Disorders Specialist Service are seeking Research Assistants to support the development of research activities.
The Research Assistant will be trained in clinical trials and research skills to support research activities under the guidance of the Trial and Study Coordinators. This will include operational (ethics, governance), regulatory (contracts, pharmacy), participant-coordination and rating, and data management support for clinical studies. The position supports safe, compliant, and efficient clinical research delivery in line with relevant policies, procedures and standards and in accordance with District governance processes.
Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience in providing a wide range of high level administrative services in a demanding environment, preferably in a research or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated experience in data collection, management and analysis, preferably in a research or healthcare setting.
- High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
