About the role

Tweed Valley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker with specialist skills in Radiation Oncology to commence with our Social Work Department at the new, state of the art Tweed Valley Hospital. The Tweed Valley Hospital represents one of the largest regional capital health investments funded entirely by the NSW Government and will include expanded operating theatres, emergency department, medical and surgical services, GEM, new interventional cardiology and radiotherapy services, comprehensive cancer care as well as enhanced ambulatory care services. This new Level 3 Social Work position will be an integral member of our senior Social Work team and, in addition to servicing the new Radiation Oncology unit, will be responsible for the supervision and upskilling of our junior Social Work team.
