Selection Criteria
- Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Social Work degree and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the Psychology/AASW Code of Ethics.
- Demonstrated experience as clinician working at a higher level within counselling models of care and knowledge of; child protection, domestic violence, mental illness, and cultural diversity.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and high-level clinical support and supervision within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, and support others in practice changes, gathering data, managing risk and reflective practice.
- Demonstrated experience of providing drug and alcohol counselling, and the development and facilitation of group programs.
- Demonstrated advanced communication skills (both written and oral) and competence in the use of electronic information systems in addition to excellent negotiation, complex decision making, case planning and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities and service evaluation processes with other staff.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence, with the ability to travel in accordance with position responsibilities.
