  1. Bachelor’s degree to Honours level relevant to computer science, AI/machine learning and/or bioinformatics equivalent experience in specified field.
  2. Excellent working knowledge of computer science research methods utilizing data mining, machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques, with specific experience with deep learning.
  3. Demonstrated experience in high performance computing data collection, database management and quality assurance as well as establishing, optimising and testing data-driven analyses within a research setting.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of biomedical data, its source, and characteristics with a focus on data derived from biospecimens including genomic and proteomic data.
  5. Possess high levels of organisation and meticulous data management and recording of source code during experimentation. Evidence of efficient time management and task planning.
  6. A sound understanding of data confidentiality and principles of ethical research practice.
  7. Evidence for a high standard of communication skills and demonstrated ability working effectively both independently and within dynamic research teams.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
