This is a temporary part time 8 hours per week leave relief position until 29th June 2025 with the possibility of extension. This position is worked as one day per week on WEDNESDAYS. 




What you'll be doing
Provide and deliver high quality physiotherapy services to health service patients consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures, guidelines and standards while working within a multidisciplinary team.

 

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

 

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated high levels of oral and written communication skills including the proficient use of health based technology.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  4. A commitment to the delivery of quality service.
  5. Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development.
  6. Knowledge and understanding of the application of evidence based practice.
  7. Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to ISLHD CORE values.
  8. Current NSW Health Drivers Licence or equivalent.
