Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board (AHPRA).
- Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Has undertaken and continues to engage in professional development to further advance their management and leadership competencies.
- A demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of health care services with the ability to support a number of Maternity models of care that promote continuity of care and collaborative models while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- A demonstrated understanding of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
- A demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and the ability to manage change.
- Demonstrable effective interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate the ability to engage, enable and manage teams.
