  1. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Health management and /or extensive experience
  2. Financial experience within a large complex organization, in a financial accounting environment.
  3. Detailed understanding of the recognition, recording and classification of asset transactions.
  4. Demonstrated experience in general ledger account reconciliations and other financial activities.
  5. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, and ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  6. Ability to prioritise work schedules to meet strict deadlines in accordance with District policy while maintaining speed and accuracy
  7. Knowledge and experience of Oracle financials and Microsoft Office applications.
  8. Effective written and oral communication skills.
