- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Health management and /or extensive experience
- Financial experience within a large complex organization, in a financial accounting environment.
- Detailed understanding of the recognition, recording and classification of asset transactions.
- Demonstrated experience in general ledger account reconciliations and other financial activities.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, and ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise work schedules to meet strict deadlines in accordance with District policy while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle financials and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
