About you

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative and analytically strong leader who can support the work of the Whole of Health Program with:

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to performance improvement activities at a local, regional or system level, with the ability to apply a structured approach to diagnostics, solution design, implementation and evaluation to support improved patient flow and access outcomes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, management or process improvement, or equivalent professional experience supporting operational and service improvement initiatives in complex health systems.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex, multi source data, translate insights into practical system level actions, and prepare clear, high quality analysis, advice, briefs and reports for senior executives and Ministry stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem solving capability, with the ability to identify performance barriers, design innovative improvement strategies, and apply sound judgement in fast paced operational environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence diverse clinical and operational stakeholders, and work effectively across LHDs, SHNs, Ministry divisions and partner agencies.
  • A demonstrated commitment to fostering a collaborative team culture, contributing to high performing, multidisciplinary teams, and supporting colleagues to deliver high quality outcomes in line with program priorities.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment to deliver high quality outcomes, sometimes at short notice, and travel to locations across NSW when required.
