John Hunter Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Visiting Medical Officer in Otolaryngology, to provide high quality and effective specialist Otolaryngology services to patients of the Hunter New England area.
What you’ll do:
- Management of elective patients with a focus on head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction
- Participation in the emergency roster and treatment of Otolaryngology patients at the John Hunter Hospital
- Contribute to teaching, research and multidisciplinary team development across the service
What we’re looking for:
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
- A commitment to medical education, team collaboration and patient centred care
- A proactive approach to service development, research, and innovation in clinical practice
