About the Role
As a Rostering Support Officer, you’ll play an essential role within our People & Culture team, providing quality-driven, best practice rostering support across the Hunter New England Local Health District.
Your work ensures that staff rosters, leave, and pay outcomes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. You'll also be responsible for generating and interpreting complex reports, and providing consistent, high-quality advice on policies, systems and processes.

What You Need
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience working in a demanding team environment while exercising initiative and problem-solving skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
A commitment to providing quality service and applying continuous improvement to workplace processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and influence others using a collaborative approach
Proficiency in PC-based applications including Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
Experience and/or knowledge of payroll, rostering, or HR systems (experience with NSW Health Awards, policies, or HealthRoster is highly regarded)
A customer-focused approach and the ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with challenging situations
