As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you’ll be joining a team that handles around 3,000 patients per year. The role requires someone who is experienced, confident, and ready to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
A typical week will see you working a variety of morning and afternoon shifts, rotating across a 7-day roster. You’ll have the opportunity to manage patient care independently with the support of your colleagues, as well as access to clinical and operational support both onsite and remotely through My Emergency Doctor for patient assessments and reviews.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
- Work both independently and collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals
- Participate in the management and treatment of emergency cases, providing hands-on care and assessments
- Collaborate with the broader hospital team, including the After Hours Coordinators and Clinical Nurse Educators, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Engage with patients and families with kindness, professionalism, and empathy
About you:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Department nursing who is passionate about patient care and has a calm, confident, and compassionate approach to their work. Experience in Emergency Nursing with a strong clinical background is a must.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
