About your new role:
Based primarily in Maitland Hospital’s Special Care Unit, you will be attending to the care and management of complex and premature infants, allowing you to broaden your skillset further within the neonatal space. You will also get the opportunity to work within the Paediatric Unit, providing exceptional care for patients across the age continuum from Neonates to Adolescents. Working in this unit will give you a diverse range of nursing opportunities including medical, surgical and orthopaedic nursing, caring for patients through their pre and postoperative journey.
You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educator and fellow Registered Nurses. A thorough orientation will be provided, and ongoing professional development and growth is always encouraged. Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Preferred experience in the neonatal and paediatric area.
