The role:
We are excited to offer positions for Registered Midwives at our level 2 Midwifery Group Practice in Glen Innes, with flexible working hours to match your lifestyle. With no rostered shifts onsite and protected days off, you’ll enjoy true flexibility with our team. Our Midwifery Group Practice is an all risk model, full continuity of care including ante-and-post natal care, and low risk birthing services. We work in collaboration with Armidale Rural Referral Hospital to provide women with a shared care option for high risk pregnancies. Our strong, cohesive team ensures a collaborative and supportive environment. In addition to bedside care, our midwives offer home visit servicing so a current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel for work will be essential to this role
You won’t be working alone. You’ll be supported by the Midwife Unit Manager and the Clinical Midwifery Educator, along with the existing tight-knit team. The team itself is a social one, regularly going to the gym as a group and promoting new programs within the community. If you’re looking to become part of the family, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel for work.
Additional Information:
1) * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. If your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. Please note: the increased RHWIS allowance is approved until 30th June 2026. Commencement after this date may be subject to change, including the allowance amount for which the candidate may be eligible. 2) An eligibility list will be created for future permantent and temporary part-time vacancies.
3) To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
