About the role:

The Fracture Clinic at Manning Base Hospital operates each Thursday, and as our newest Enrolled Nurse (EN), you will be providing follow up care for patients who presented to Emergency with a fracture, often with those that required surgery. Wound care is a main focus in this role – if you are an experienced EN looking to support your community surrounded by a large, multidisciplined team, then look no further than our fracture clinic!

You won’t be working alone. You’ll be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, as well as the broader multidisc team including medical, imaging, physiotherapy and surgical staff. A thorough orientation will also be provided, including supernumery days. This warm, supportive and professional team are ready to welcome you!

Be a strong communicator who enjoys working in a broad team

Have a resilient mindset who feels comfortable de-escalating patients who are often uncomfortable and in pain

Hold experience in wound care

Requirements:

·         Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
