About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our compassionate team, playing an important role in delivering and evaluating high-quality nursing care tailored to meet the unique clinical objectives of each patient. In this position you’ll be working in the Endoscopy specialty team within Belmont Hospital. You will be using your experience in Endoscopy to work within GENCA guidelines both within the Endoscopy procedure room and the reprocessing areas. If you are a strong communicator who enjoys working both within a team and independently, we want to hear from you! 

You won’t be working alone. You’ll be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators, Endoscopy CNS and fellow senior staff. A thorough orientation will also be provided, including supernumery days. This warm, supportive and professional team are ready to welcome you!

As our ideal candidate, you will:

  • Demonstrate recent experience in endoscopy reprocessing and GENCA guidelines
  • Showcase your ability to work within a person-centred approach to nursing with a willingness to embrace change in the delivery of care.
  • Have a deep understanding of quality improvement and evidence-based practice with recent clinical experience relevant to the position

Requirements:

  • Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA

Additional Information:

  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part-time vacancies.
  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. This is a Category A position. Acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement (IHS), or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate, or AIR COVID-19 and Influenza IHS. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
