We are offering two exciting opportunities for proactive, detail-focused individuals to join our dynamic Waitlist Teams, supporting quality care and efficient hospital operations.

 
 

Position 1: Waitlist Team Lead – Temporary Full Time – Kurri Kurri Hospital

Role Overview:
This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys co-ordinating workflow while staying actively involved in processes.  Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will oversee a small team (3 Full Time Equivalent) while playing a hands-on role in managing patient waitlists and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and direct workflow for the Waitlist team
  • Manage and book the surgical waitlist, reporting, and liaise with theatre staff for correct scheduling and coverage
  • Participate in hospital meetings and ensure effective communication
  • Contribute to achieving NSW Health targets for timely surgical access

 

Position 2: Waitlist Coordinator – Permanent Full Time – Maitland Hospital

Role Overview:
Become part of a small but exceptionally high-performing team, known for its collaborative spirit and strong team culture. In this vital administrative role, you’ll work closely with supportive colleagues to manage booking processes, patient communication, and theatre scheduling in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with patients
  • Manage surgical bookings and cancellations
  • Perform regular reporting and auditing
  • Work collaboratively within a dynamic team of 5-6 people to streamline processes to support a growing hospital
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
