Temp fixed term until June 2027
Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) is seeking a passionate and experienced Dermatologist to join our team at John Hunter Hospital, providing high-quality specialist care across the lower Hunter region.
About the Role
As a Visiting Medical Officer in Dermatology, you will play a key role in delivering contemporary, comprehensive, and patient-centred specialist services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage a wide range of dermatological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
•Inpatient and outpatient dermatology care
•Diagnostic and procedural services
•Telehealth consultations
•Participation in the dermatology emergency roster
•Clinical supervision and teaching
•Contribution to research and education initiatives
You are a dedicated and skilled dermatologist who brings:
•A primary medical degree registered with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Australian College of Dermatology.
•A strong commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and research
•Proven experience delivering dermatology care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
