Where you'll be working

Join the Child Development Team (CDT), a specialised multidisciplinary service based in Wallsend, dedicated to supporting children aged 18 months to 12 years experiencing challenges in two or more areas of development. As a tertiary-level team, CDT provides comprehensive developmental assessments and intervention services, working closely with families to create meaningful change.



About the role

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will:

  • Provide assessment and therapeutic services to children and families with complex developmental and psychosocial needs.
  • Offer clinical leadership within CDT and the broader health sector.
  • Contribute an expert clinical perspective to drive client-centred service planning and delivery.
  • Play an integral role in the multidisciplinary team, collaborating with professionals across various disciplines.
  • Take on team leader responsibilities, guiding and mentoring staff while shaping the direction of service provision.
