About The Opportunities
Muswellbrook Hospital is seeking committed and innovative Registered Nurses to join our Dialysis and Infusion Units. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your career, grow your knowledge, and work within a supportive, team-focused environment.
Dialysis Unit
- 6-chair unit, open 6 days a week (closed Sundays)
- Comprehensive training and orientation, including 2 weeks at either Maitland or John Hunter Hospital with the Dialysis Educator
- Supported shifts and ongoing mentorship within the Muswellbrook Dialysis Unit
- Continued support from the Dialysis CNE, Muswellbrook CNE team, and Clinical Nurse Manager
Infusion Unit
- 4-chair unit, open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- On-site training and orientation with our Oncology Educator
- Ongoing support from the Cancer Care Coordinator, Muswellbrook Clinical Nurse Manager, and wider Cancer Services team
About You
We are looking for Registered Nurses who are:
- Currently Authorised to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Compassionate, caring, and passionate about providing holistic, high-quality care
- Strong advocates for their patients with excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Experienced in haemodialysis nursing (for Dialysis Unit roles)
- Experienced in chemotherapy administration and completion of the Cancer Institute NSW eviQ Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC), or willing to complete (for Infusion Unit roles)
