About the role:
In this diverse role, you'll provide physiotherapy care to a broad patient population across inpatient, outpatient, and group therapy settings. You’ll be responsible for delivering holistic assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to support recovery, improve function, and enhance quality of life for people with a range of subacute conditions.
Working closely within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in delivering patient-centred care across all stages of recovery - bringing both clinical variety and the chance to see the real impact of your work.
You'll receive strong support from an onsite multidisciplinary team and the wider Hunter Valley Community Health Physiotherapy team. You’ll be backed by a network including senior clinicians, a dedicated manager, and a collaborative team of peers. You'll have access to regular peer supervision, ongoing mentorship, and in-service training to keep you connected and growing. Plus, you'll complete the HNE Health orientation and required training to ensure a smooth start. About you:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable physiotherapist with:
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
- The ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and demonstrate confident clinical problem-solving.
- A solid foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with the clinical competence to assess and treat a variety of presentations.
- Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing priorities and clinical settings.
- A demonstrated drive for service improvement, with a proactive approach to enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
