About the role:
Based at Manning Hospital, our latest Enrolled Nurse (EN) role is based in a dynamic 24-hour unit that operates seven days a week, with staff working on a rotating seven-day roster. Acute hospital experience is essential, and while a background in cardiac nursing is preferred, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a collaborative team approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

You will receive comprehensive corporate orientation and supernumerary days on the ward to help you settle in. With weekly education sessions and numerous professional development opportunities within HNE Health, there is continuous support for upskilling and career growth.

Where you’ll be working:
Manning Multi-Purpose Unit is a nine-bed unit providing care for acute medical and surgical patients. Each shift is staffed with one enrolled nurse and one registered nurse, working together in a collaborative team environment. The unit follows a model of care aimed at patients with a 24–48-hour hospital stay, ensuring efficient care in a fast-paced setting with a high turnover of patients each day. The team supports one another to deliver exceptional patient care. In the near future, the unit will expand to include five cardiac-monitored beds as part of its bed profile.

Nestled on the banks of the Manning River, the Barrington Coast is a hidden gem that combines the charm of country living with the beauty of riverside serenity. This vibrant area on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales boasts lush green landscapes, breathtaking waterways, and a welcoming community spirit that makes it feel like home the moment you arrive. Whether you're exploring the scenic coastline, indulging in fresh local produce, or enjoying the peaceful river cruises, the region offers something for everyone. Perfect for adventurers, nature lovers, or those seeking a relaxed lifestyle, the Barrington is your gateway to tranquillity without sacrificing modern conveniences.
