About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse at Narrabri District Hospital, you’ll join a supportive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality care across a variety of clinical areas. Our rural facility delivers services in Medical/Surgical, Palliative Care, Paediatrics, Emergency, and Operating Theatre, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skills and gain hands-on experience across multiple specialties.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where professional growth, learning, and teamwork are encouraged. Whether you’re developing your expertise in medical-surgical nursing or exploring areas like paediatrics and palliative care, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

With a rotating roster of 8-hour AM/PM shifts and 10-hour Night shifts, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to balance work with your lifestyle while ensuring continuity of care for our community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact while building your career in a rural setting.

Requirements

Our successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment and share a deep passion for rural nursing
  • Experience is preferred but not essential – we provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing education to support your journey
  • Bring your dedication, professionalism, and passion for healthcare to our team – we can’t wait to meet you!
