About the role:
Narrabri Community Health Service is excited to be seeking an Enrolled Nurse to come into their Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) and Community Nursing teams. A typical day in TACP involves attending clients’ homes, during this time it would be expected the EN assist and assess personal care needs, undertake light domestic duties, facilitate social support, assist with attending doctor’s and other appointments if required. Once TACP needs are fulfilled, you will be given the opportunity to support the Community Nursing team in their duties.
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated person that has commitment in caring for the older person. As you will be required to travel for this role, a current NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel for work purposes is a must. Your ability to identify a deteriorating patient, navigate emergency protocols and work together with other services will make you a stand out in this role. Interest and experience in wound management would also be advantageous in this role.
You won’t be working alone. The Enrolled Nurse will be orientated and supported by Registered Nurse. There is ongoing support and leadership by Registered Nurse, Nurse Unit Manager and Community Health Service Manager. All staff have a Professional Development Plan of which includes education, training and professional development.

Requirements:
- Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel for work.
