Where you'll be working:
Join our small, dedicated team as a Sexual Assault Clinical Lead in Taree, on the beautiful Barrington Coast of NSW, where you'll be part of a positive and supportive environment.

Our shared office fosters collaboration and connection, while still allowing space for focused, client-centred work. If you're looking for a rewarding role where your skills are valued and your wellbeing is prioritised, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role:
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced clinician to take on the pivotal role of Clinical Lead with the Taree Sexual Assault Service. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic support to children, young people, and their families impacted by sexual assault. Your responsibilities will include intake, assessment, case planning, and implementation of tailored interventions that promote safety, recovery, and healing. You’ll also play a key role in case reviews and discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care and best practice outcomes.

As Clinical Lead, you will provide expert clinical guidance to the team, lead professional development and supervision activities, and foster a culture of learning and improvement. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as NSW Police, DCJ, JCPRP, NGOs, and other government and non-government partners to ensure a coordinated and trauma-informed response to sexual assault. This role includes participation in after-hours on-call duties and involvement in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research. If you’re a motivated leader with a passion for trauma-informed care, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a great leadership opportunity for a passionate clinician, particularly someone at Level 3 ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be stepping into a supportive environment with strong professional backing and genuine opportunities for growth and development.

About you:
We’re looking for a highly skilled and compassionate clinician with extensive knowledge of the complex dynamics of sexual assault, child development, and trauma. You’ll bring a deep understanding of current theories and research, alongside familiarity with the legal and policy frameworks surrounding child protection and sexual assault in NSW. Your clinical background includes substantial post-graduate experience providing therapeutic interventions to children, young people, adults, and families affected by sexual violence.

You’re someone who demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective therapeutic relationships and providing mentorship to peers and students. You possess advanced clinical reasoning and expertise in trauma-informed care, and have a proven ability to lead quality improvement initiatives, apply critical thinking to complex problems, and work with autonomy. If you’re ready to contribute your expertise in a leadership role while supporting a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply.
