About The role:

Are you an organised, personable, and proactive individual looking to be the face of a busy and dynamic department? We are seeking a Front Desk Admin Officer to join our Cardiology team, providing high-quality support to both inpatient and outpatient clients.

As the first point of contact for the Cardiology CSU, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of front desk and administrative duties across the department. Working alongside a friendly team of six admin officers, you will also liaise closely with our Cardiac Cath Lab and Diagnostic Centre. This role is Monday to Friday 07:30 – 4:00pm

  • Greet and assist patients on arrival and departure

  • Book inpatient diagnostic tests and outpatient clinic appointments

  • Provide administrative support to clinicians, including typing medical letters

  • Manage the Referral Information Management System (RIMS)

  • Coordinate the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic schedule

  • Monitor and respond to the main Cardiology inbox

Foster a strong team environment and work collaboratively with colleagues
 

About You:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer-facing admin role preferred
  • Strong typing skills desirable
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude
  • Training will be provided for the right candidate
