About the Service:
The Immunisation Team includes an Aboriginal Health Manager, an Aboriginal Health Worker and Nurses. Together, they work across HNELHD services and with external partners to promote immunisation education, support service delivery, monitor vaccination coverage, and track adverse events following immunisation (AEFIs).
The team values collaboration, curiosity, and privileging voices less heard. You’ll be part of a workplace where your contribution is respected, and your professional growth is supported.
About You:
We’re looking for an engaged, collaborative and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys variety and problem-solving. You bring:
- Strong critical thinking skills
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks in a busy environment
- A positive, solutions-focused approach
- An interest in improving systems and processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
Non-negotiables:
- Critical thinking and prioritisation skills
- Engagement and collaboration in a team environment
What can be learned:

What We Offer:
- Support from the Nurse Manager, Immunisation Clinical Lead, and experienced Health Protection admin team members
- A structured orientation with resources and manuals provided
- Professional development opportunities, both internal and external
- A supportive and inclusive team culture
- Salary packaging, fitness passport, and access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that makes a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the Hunter New England community through immunisation advocacy and service delivery.
