About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at John Hunter Hospital as a Permanent Part-Time Accommodation Coordinator, supporting patient and relative accommodation services. This crucial role focuses on managing guest bookings, ensuring comfortable and seamless accommodation experiences for patients’ families.
You will work as part of a team who collectively cover seven days a week, providing essential weekend coverage and backfilling for the full-time Accommodation Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage guest bookings in the Patient and Relative Accommodation facility
- Coordinate accommodation logistics to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate closely with the Accommodation team and report directly to the Manager of Volunteer Services and Relative Accommodation
- Support weekend shifts with 8 hours on Fridays and 4 hours each on Saturdays and Sundays
About You:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or accommodation setting
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts
